December Lunch and Learn — Member Appreciation and Holiday Fundraiser

This is our 2nd Annual Member Appreciation Meeting, which means registration is only $8!

We hope that in lieu of the usual registration, you consider making a contribution to our chapter donation to the Veteran’s Passport to Hope.  Tony Drees Tony-Drees-BIO1.docx , a Purple Heart Veteran, will be speaking on behalf of the Veterans Passport to hope. Dave Jeary, our chapter president, will be matching the first 100 dollars of donations to the Veteran’s Passport to Hope.

Our speaker will be Tim Page-Bottorff, CSP, CET who is a Senior Consultant at SafeStart. Tim is an Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental professional who brings experiences from his over 22 years of OSH experience Will be speaking about bringing humor to safety. As a United States Marine, Tim earned the Humanitarian Service Medal and is a veteran of Operation Desert Shield/Storm. Tim started his safety career in the Marine Corps and is very proud of his grass roots approach.

Tim currently serves as the Region II – Vice President.  Tim has also served as the ASSE Region II Assistant Regional Vice President (ARVP) for Professional Development, Secretary and Webmaster. He is also a member of the Consultants, Public Sector International Practice Specialties including being a member of the Military Branch. He is currently working on a Self Help Book titled the Core of FourTM. He is a Senior Safety Consultant with SafeStart and owns his own consulting firm Total Safety Compliance.

His industry accomplishments include certification as an OSHA Training Institute Instructor and an Adjunct Faculty Member for the University of California San Diego, Asbestos Inspector/Management Planner, HAZWOPER Instructor, California Specialized Training Institute Instructor and California Fire Marshal Instructor. Tim has a BS in Management and is completing his MS from Arizona State University. He is also a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.

While Tim’s history is extensive, it is his personal passion for safety that makes him such a motivating professional. As a father of teenagers, he realizes the importance of safety not just at work, but also at home and on the road. This passion makes Tim a sought after speaker and consultant in the OSH profession.
