Help Support the 2017 Veterans Winter Stand Down

Help us make a difference !

ASSE leaders will once again be giving back during the Leadership Conference Welcome Reception.

This year we will be making kits for the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center to distribute during their Winter Stand Down for Homeless Veterans.

Attendees, along with their member communities and ASSE staff, are invited to contribute:

• undergarments (any size)

• individually-wrapped snack items

• gift cards (MasterCard, Visa, etc.)

This is an outstanding cause and one we feel our membership would like to support. Below you can contribute to the cause by making a donation to the event in 5 dollar increments. If you would like to contribute $25.00 simply select 5 in the quantity when purchasing.  Alternatively, we will have a drop box for members to contribute purchased goods and we will ensure these get out to Society. At the October 10th Lunch and Learn we will hold a special drawing for each paid or purchased goods donation you will receive an entry into the drawing.

The CO chapter team will then deliver the donations in the form of a check or Visa gift cards to the Leadership Conference.

Leadership Conference attendees will assemble these donated items into kits during the Thursday evening welcome reception. The kits will be delivered to the Jesse Brown  VA Medical  distributed to homeless veterans in the Chicago area during the reception.
